Opus123 Music Academy is proud to present: Intro to Music Theory - A Modern Approach to the Elements of Music. This course explores the foundations of Rhythm, Melody, and Harmony, along with methods that connect these elements to create Contemporary and Classical music. Its aim is to provide a step-by-step system that develops a core vocabulary of musical techniques useful to all musicians in any style of modern music.
This course lays the foundation for a more in-depth study of Harmony, Counterpoint, Voice-Leading, Form, Analysis, Improvisation, and Composition. By the end of this course, you should be prepared with the basics to further explore more advanced concepts in University-level music classes, along with the confidence to pursue creative endeavors with other musicians while speaking the same musical language!
